Yeah, Makoto's kara throw is f+lk. That's also how she does karakara and kara oroshi/hayate.

Abel's kara is really only for his command grab. It's difficult to do, and you can accomplish most of the same effect by just tapping forward.

Juri's best kara is mp, not mk.

Karas are stupid and I hate them so I play Makoto. :<

Gdlk Dust, gdlk.

Before I add it though, just wanna confirm a few things:

By "face up" and "face down" you mean whether their head or feet is facing you? Cause I don't remember characters landing "belly down", so to speak.

Also, by "neutral stick" you mean no quick rise? Or do those chars recover slower/faster if you're not touching the stick, even from untechable knockdown?

And lastly, explain these "invincible bug"s if you'd please?

Many thanks.

Face up means they're laying on their back (most knockdowns). Some knockdowns force you to fall on your belly (like Zangief's SPD). They have different frame data.

Neutral stick refers to never pressing a direction. For example, if Yang gets knocked down on his belly and never taps his joystick, he's immune to everything for 14 frames or until he taps a direction. When there's an immunity glitch like that, it's referred to as an "invincible bug".

http://tetrasg.com/2011/06/17/ssf4ae-ya ... ncibility/ for video reference.

Knockdowns that result in the opponent falling onto their belly include, but are not limited to:

Fuerte : Tortilla/Forward throw
Fei Long : Forward throw
Abel : Forward throw
Guy : bunshin izuna
Zangief : SPD
Rose : Forward throw
Gouken : Forward throw
Dhalsim : Forward throw
Seth : SPD/Forward throw/Ultra 1
Sakura : Forward throw
Cammy : Forward throw
Claw : Forward Throw/Flying Barcelone
Yang : Ultra 2
Gen : Backthrow
Juri : Backthrow
Chun Li : Backthrow
Viper : Backthrow

Does Gouken have a kara. I have read this , but i have never seen it done in. If so why not just kara back throw?

His s.hk is a slight kara forward. However, that slight kara forward and you holding back for backthrow pretty much negate eachother (besides, the kara doesn't go far forward anyways). Beyond that, s.hk is sort of an awkward kara.

As I mentioned, that's more a list of total known Karas than a list of GOOD karas. Not all of them are worth using (dustlooper explains why on this one well).

It's just not worth the trouble. Still, it's there if you indeed feel like using it.

Well Gouken has some useful Karas. For example, kara hadouken input = :joystick-down: :joystick-down-right: :joystick-right: :kick-hard: :punch-light: A great tool to push people into corners with Hadoukens. He has a kara throw but it's kinda useless.

Okay guys its been a while, but there is still tons of things to learn.

Can someone explain the different types of stuns. (When a character is dizzy sometimes i see different things over the head of the dizzy character).
