I just have this tendency to hate characters with entirely different mechanics from the rest just cause they're guest characters.

Imagine just how broken Sol Badguy would be if he crossed over to Tekken. Even without the parts where he runs twice as fast as the rest of the cast part, his 3f kick, the sword and projectiles, he'd bring jump cancels, faultless defense, roman cancels, why not the instant kill while we're at it, and we'd have to expect this?

While seeing a bit of another game in this one could be good from the viewpoint of someone who is going from SF to Tekken (which I'm not, I knew Tekken very early on and believe me or not I had to wait till 2006 to know SF), but Tekken's Tekken in the end. I'd prefer if Tekken proved creative to avoid the fiasco that SFxT got because of the cast that's divided in two halves just because of who gets access to what mechanics and whatnot.

So it is possible for Akuma to do an FADC in Tekken 7 FR.

I was obviously exaggerating the phenomenon at hand, but the fact is he brings mechanics unique to himself with these cancels. Links, why the hell not, but the fact is: he's likely to be either broken or weaksauce merely due to how differently he functions.

We haven't played the character yet, however Tokido has the right approach when using Akuma in Tekken (video shown below). Broken? I don't think so. Weak? Only for people who has no clue on how to use him in Tekken gameplay.

I seen this one. He fits well, but the cancels and super meter feel tacked-on and frankly unnecessary imo. With the supers he even gets extra opportunities to do big damage rather than just Rage Art like the other characters. But his combo game looks duper-weak in here. Like I said, he's a bit bipolar, with his own mechanics that border on unfair and other aspects that make him feel like a cripple IMO.

Update: The Tekken 7 Fated Retribution location testing starts today! On the 26 to 27 of Feb, Green Arcade and the Royal arcade in Daegu will have the game and start letting people play it. Then on the 28th, the E-stadium PC Bang in Busan will then receive the game for play testing. If you happen to be in those areas, check it out.

Akuma is the only Street Fighter character in Tekken 7 FR. Don't expect anyone else to join in.
