Is it weird I write down movesets for characters I play?

I'm gonna be honest; As much as I love fighting games, 1 thing I don't care much for is having to keep going back to the command list and check to see what commands I need to be putting in for what move I want to do.
However, over time, I decided that a good way to combat this gripe is to write down or type out the moveset inputs for characters I wish to play. I find this is not only a good way to memorize the inputs for the character but also saves me from having to keep going back and forward to the command list. Also, as an extra bonus, whenever I am playing online and I cannot pause for obvious reasons, I can take a quick glance at my notes as a refresher for what my character can do. Obviously I don't mean during gameplay, I more mean during loading screens or in-between rounds.
Is it weird that I do this? Or am I once again being paranoid? Let me know what you think of this.
