That's exactly it. I don't dig games being like movies. If I want to watch a movie I'll watch a movie. A lot of games can tell a story without being like movies, Zelda for one. Red Dead Redemption for another. Some people might disagree, but I didn't feel like I was watching a Summer blockbuster. The best story (i don't just mean the content, I mean the structure, presentation, style etc) I've seen in a game was Alan Wake. It was episodic, and the end of each episode made you want to know what's next, but the story itself felt light it came straight out of a novel rather than a movie or T.V show. The experience was just great.
I don't know if I ever will play an Uncharted game, but can you tell me this: How many times have you played it?
This is a legit question, not trying to bash the game. For me, Replay value doesn't necessarily bring the game down, I just want to know if it has any. I haven't even played Majora's Mask more than once and it's still one of my all time favourite games.

Its essentially the same setup, pick your perks, guns etc, but lots of cod haters who think its too main stream play uncharted.

Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda as well. Even though it was shorter than Ocarina of Time (if you knew what you were doing), I liked that it was harder. Also, there were a lot more sidequests.

Castlevania 1 is like Demon's Souls. It requires patience, learning from your mistakes, and memorizing where every enemy is and what their attack patterns are. In the later levels, one hit and you lost a quarter of your health. And health drops where extremely rare. If you got hit at least twice, you were better off killing yourself since you needed to have full health if you wanted to stand a chance against the boss at the end, which were obscenely hard btw. I was so frustrated at the game to the point where I wanted to throw it across the room and step on it, but I pressed on. But one day, I finally beat it. I think I've beaten it 3-4 times, but never on hard mode. Once you realize how ridiculously cheap and overpowered the holy water is, the entire game is a joke. You can look at speed runs and see what I mean.

Spyro got ruined too. Insomniac went to make Ratchet and Clank though, but still...

And I see what FatMus means. I don't like games that are too realistic. Like idk...racing games are all realistic with the shiny cars and the drifting, it doesn't seem that fun to me. If anything, I play games to escape from reality and take me to indifferent world, not play a virtual version of it. As for games being movies.....Uncharted isn't that much of a movie in the fact that you're just sitting there watching. It's a game, you get plenty of gameplay in UC. Not an interactive movie like MGS4 (90% of that game is cutscenes) and Asura's Wrath (yeah I said it. Quick time events should be banned. The only game I've played that had smart implantation of QTE is RE4).
