Saturday Night Fights FTW - NW Alabama

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that we are opening up a new game store in North West Alabama, 60 miles north of Huntsville (100 miles from Bham). If you live in the area or nearby and looking for a great place to hang and tear up with friends, we're your one stop shop! FTW (For the Win) will be running weekly tournaments on Saturday nights that include SSFIV, MvC2, Soul Calibur, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, etc. You name it, we have it!

Here are all the juicy details:

SETUP:
FTW has a PS3 with copies of SSF4, Tekken 6, Blazeblue, KoF13, and MvC2. It's displayed on a wall mounted 46" JVC HDTV @ 120 Hertz with a Sony 5.1 Surround Sound setup. We also have a PS2 and Wii with a huge assortment of fighting games that runs on a standard 27" screen. We have additional space for more consoles and TVs if people want to bring their owns while waiting on the HDTV room.

FEE:
FTW runs a casual play fee of $8 for the HDTV room, and $5 for the Standard TV. This is per screen, per hour. Not per person!

TIME:
Every Saturday from 5:00 PM till 12:00 AM. Though 3 AM is a common event for some of us!

LIVE STREAM:
Right now, we don't have any Streaming capabilities. If this is a game breaker for you and know how to set it up, let us know! We are open to the idea if we get enough people playing weekly.

BYOC:
Bring your own controller or pad. FTW has extras that they can rent out, but you will feel more at home with your own.

HOUSE RULES:

1. Respect each other.

2. Trash talking is cool its part of the culture just keep it in check and dont get out of hand with it. If there are children present, watch your language.

Yeah, I have no idea why this "tourney" gets posted all the time because well it is pretty much non existent. The set-up is a wall mounted 50 inch tv with a ps3 and no one and I mean no one even wants to play fighting games. It is really sad to think that I'm the best person at pretty much every fighting game because, well no one in this area or even in a 100+ mile radius even plays but, mention COD and everyone wants some action.
