The French site Jeuxactu.com has written up an interesting story about Super Street Fighter 4. I've done a rough translation of the piece, so keep in mind some things might get lost in translation.

* Sagat and Seth were specifically mentioned in the article as being nerfed (not being as effective).
* The rest of the cast is being rebalanced by altering the power of some of their moves along with changing up the frame data.
* There will be new opening and ending sequences done by a 'great Japanese animation studio.'
o Assumption from author: The user-interface will be receiving an overhaul.
o Assumption from author: Bonus stages have been confirmed.

Most of us thought they'd nerf sagat a bit
I think what they will do with seth is make him into more of an actual character than nerf him totally

alright. lets address the blanka issue. seeing as how he gets a large chunk of hate here, i have one question. why? he's a DIFFICULT character to use successfully, imo. i've tried. and failed. send sagat hate. send balrog hate. they're easy to use. but blanka?

I'm not surprised they're nerfing Sagat - I don't think anyone could possibly be surprised by that tidbit. I am more interested to see if they nerf Ryu in some way. Albeit most of the forum revolved around Sagat, I was always a firm believer Ryu needed a little less of the perfection that is him.

Anyhoot, I hope they have added something extra and fun to the side play of the game, something they're sorely lacking in.

Blanka is easy to use, when in random select with a few of the guys on event hubs and other friends around the world I get him or vice versa the blanka player usually ends up on top regardless who the opponent gets. When you get higher in the game sure you have knowlage to help you combat them but its still a tough match his move-set gives you so many options. Very few blankas ive played have bothered to learn any combos cause the can dominate a match without it.

It's an opinion Azn and its almost as widely held as the sagat op opinion that he is irritating and easy to use.... I have a guy on my friends list who uses blanka and he can never find anyone to spar with...

we disagree yet again!

i have a lot of respect for blanka mains; the good ones, anyways. blanka doesn't have an overly damaging combo(his ultra is a crutch). he has to resort to mind games and randomness to be successful. and to boot, i ain't exactly good with him.

I happen to be very good at getting his ultra in as an anti air. There are fun matchups as well as matchups that are irritating imo

I was mostly kidding Azian, but personally- it's just not a fight I enjoy.

I was just saying that if you were as skillful with Blanka as you are with Ol' One-Eye, it would be a dark day indeed. No harm meant.
