Poison Official GD.

Basics:

Jack of All Trades but a Master of None is the best way to describe Poison. Her Low Damage output is one of her weaknesses but she can do rushdown, zoning, playing it lame, and other play styles really well, it's just that she doesn't excel in any of them.
She is best played from mid-screen as that's where most of her options are opened to her and where her zoning game is at it's strongest.

Movement:

Most Characters in SFxT have slow walk speeds, but Poison's is decent. Poison's forward and back dahses are really good and very fast. Poison has a floaty jump arc and can be read easily so it's best to establish a good ground game with Poison.

Gem Loadout's:

Gems are not not rocket science, they are actually easy to figure out. You gotta know what your looking for. The most effective builds for Poison is C.Gauge Gems and Power Gems. Team Position is also important to certain gem loadout's bare that in mind before copying certain gem loadout's here.

Non DLC Power Gem Build(On Point)

-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 5 normals)
-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 3 special moves)
-Immense Power lv.1(have 4 attacks blocked)

Non DLC Power Gem Build(Reserve)

-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 5 normals)
-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 3 special moves)
-Immense Power lv.1(Partner lands a launcher)

DLC Power Gem Build(On Point)

-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 5 normals)
-Immense Power lv.1(connect with 3 special moves)
-Immense Power lv.2(connect with 4 special moves)

DLC Power Gem Build(Reserve)

-Immense power lv.1(connect with 3 special moves)
-Immense power lv.2(connect with 4 special moves)
-Immense power lv.1(partner lands a launcher)

DLC C.Gauge Gem Build(On Point)

-Onslaught lv.2(connect with 4 special moves)
-EX Onslaught lv.2[Power](connect with 4 special moves)

Notes:
The condition, connect with 3 special moves can easily be completely by do all three reps of Whip of Love.

Team Synergy and some Example Team Synergy and Combos:

Legend:
AE = Aeolus Edge
KBG = Kissed by a Goddess
WoL = Whip of Love
LMT = Love me Tender

Concept for Poison:

Poison is a pretty basic character with low damage output, putting her up with a high damaging character is the likely solution and can work. Characters with high juggle potential also workout in Poison's favor giving you ample situations to Switch Cancel from. The one of poison's selling Point's is that she has one of the better boost combos in the game in terms of consistency, making her a good battery character. Poison doesn't require alot of meter to be useful(1 stock is all that's needed) and can build it fairly consistently with her multi rep special. The real big downside to Poison is the lack of Switch Cancel Options...she only has 1, :kick-medium: Kissed by a Goddess, and it's very hard to combo after with most of the cast, however there are exceptions. Poison also suffers from not being able to much after a switch cancel on her own without higher levels of execution to do her Charge Attack Dash Cancel combos. Overall, shes a decent character to have as a partner but the team's synergy will revolve around the other character then her specifically due to the low amount of actual combo/set up potential with her.

Hugo:
Poison's official partner is good early on, and works well in reserve. complete with power gems, Hugo can easily exceed 700+ damage with Boost Gem's in effect. Hugo's strength comes with a price and that's the fact has a hard time getting in, even with the armor. However hes still a great character to have in Poison's corner and is a character who can do a decent amount of damage off her :kick-medium: KBG.

Recommended Position: Reserve
Gems: Power Gems
Combos:
Poison bnb Boost combo:

Cr. :kick-medium: - Far :punch-hard: -Launcher Hugo- ~ Cr. :punch-light: > Palm breaker ~ Shootdown backbreaker. 348 damage.

Poison- Cl. :punch-hard: > :kick-medium: KBG (Switch Cancel) Hugo- ~ Cr. :punch-light: > :punch-light: Palm Breaker ~ Shootdown backbreaker. 428 damage.

Hugo- bnb Boost combo:
Cr. :punch-medium: > Palm braker ~ Cr. :punch-light: - St. :punch-medium: - Launcher Poison- ~ Cl. :punch-medium: ~ Cr. :punch-hard: > :kick-hard: KBG. 401 damage.

Ogre:
Ogre is a very Combo depended character and he actually can combo off Poison's :kick-medium: KBG with ease. His damage is good and can back up Poison with a number of switch cancel opportunities. Poison can easily fuel Ogre's meter expensive combos as well so they have some pretty good synergy together.

Recommended position: Reserve
Gem Loadout: Power Gems(Poison C.Gauge)
Combos:

Ogre- :joystick-up-right: :kick-light: - :kick-medium: ~ Cl :punch-hard: > Owl's Hunt (Switch Cancel) Poison- ~ Cl. :punch-medium: ~ Cr. :punch-hard: > :kick-hard: KBG. 371 damage.

Poison- Cr. :kick-medium: > :kick-medium: KBG (switch Cancel) Ogre- ~ :joystick-up-right: :kick-light: - :kick-medium: ~ :kick-hard: > Waning Moon. 394 damage.

I like how you set it up, and unless you go out and play more builds you may not get any more info until you actually get the game. Will you actually be making a guide for her once the game gets released?

yeah i know its hard to go out to other places when you have college~ but yes i will be making a Guide for her when the game is released for sure.

but i have been getting feed back from my friends who do get to play the newer builds and they have been helping me with finding out new things for poison. so when it does come out i can consolidate all the info i have to do more testing.

sorry for being new and all...i've actually came to event hubs for over a year and a half now but never made a forum account...so ya...
