The thing about Raven's teleport, it's pretty damn safe. I don't like to mash jabs like a lot of people do since it can be unsafe, especially for Heihachi who's jab is slow. He can teleport behind me while in the corner, then teleport back again to the other side. I think his teleport should have a bit more recovery, like 1 or 2 frames.

If he teleports without setting it up with a kunai you have ways of punishing him, mess around with it.

Also I wasn't aware body splash juggled no matter what. Patch that ****. That is where the line is drawn. Now that you mention it maybe Gief can do that too. I need to test this.

Yes Gief's splash juggles no matter what. But I'm pretty sure Gief's hitbox is smaller due to the legs not having a hitbox. With Hugo his legs also have a hitbox, which just makes the hitbox bigger and makes crossups easier.

Hugo should not get nerfed in anyway besides a bit of damage. If anything he needs more buffs since his grab range sucks so bad it is not even a threat to use. His normals are slow and easy to out poke and the only thing going for him is his jumping HP/HK. I find it so much easier using the best of my characters to punish his jumps and whatnot and I think everyone should too. They really need to stop bitching if they find one thing that they cannot go through and not using their characters to their full extent. I honestly hate that no one tries to do anything to solve their problems.

wut? how comes jin is so low in your list sulfur :?:

and heres my list. I feel dhalsim is being overlooked alot. having a strong keepaway game and a hard hitting 3 frame super is extremely valuable in a game like this. dhalsim and a strong partner that works well with him makes for one of the best teams in the game imo.

A+ Juri, Vega, Kazuya, Law, Ryu, Rufus, Raven, Rolento

A Dhalsim, Ken, Zangief, Jin, Heihachi, Nina, Steve, Julia, Hugo

B+ Guile, Cammy, Akuma, Hwoarang, Lili, Ogre

B Chun li, Bob, Marduk, Abel, Balrog, M. Bison, Sagat, King, Kuma, Xiaoyu

C Ibuki, Poison, Asuka, Paul, Yoshimitsu

I know a VERY good Ibuki. I would definitely not put her in the same tier as Paul and Yoshi. But I will agree with Dhalsim. I haven't been able to beat a single (good) one.

Anywho

Broken Tier - Hugo
A - Ryu, Juri, Kazuya, Heihachi, Nina
B - Vega, Akuma, Ken, Rolento, Julia, Rufus, Raven
C - Law, King, Ibuki, Abel, Chun-Li, Lili, Kuma, Bison, Zangief, Cammy, Sagat, Hwoarang, Steve, Cole
D - Xaioyu, Asuka, Balrog, Dhalsim, Pac - Man, Marduk, Bob, Poison, Guile, Jin
F - Megaman, Kuro, Toro, Paul, Yoshimitsu

I think anyone in D tier can still be good with the right partner, however, anyone in F is complete ass, and should never even be used in a competitive scene at all.

Guile, Jin, Xaioyu D tier?

I feel like you're insulting the ninja by putting her in the same time as Yoshimitsu lol.

Because
a) his damage output is low without the use of meter
b) he lacks any sort of a quick anti air
c) he only has one way of getting un on spammers, and you can't wavedash it like kazuya
d) his fireballs suck if they are not ex
c) his normals are kinda slow

however, i still think he can be good if he has a good partner with him.
This one time I saw Ryu pop a wheelie so hard, that Akuma was like; "Okay, we're good."

In retort to your point b), his mental alertness -> leaping side kick is a very good anti air. It has quick startup (as soon as you see someone jump activate you should be able to do the move on reaction), a very big hitbox (it can actually hit opponents right on top of Jin's head as well as in front of him), it juggles so you can combo off it, AND it has an amazingly quick recovery, so whiffing it should be somewhat safe. I've had it done on me alot by players who do it very fast on reaction and it's hard to beat. Doing it early will also mean you'll rarely trade with it and you'll be able to go into a combo with decent damage output
