Why are all you guys saying Paul is bad? He's really solid. Sulfur, you're saying he's in F which means he's plain ass. But I think he'd be a D in your list. With the right partner he's very very good. His pokes and normals are good, he has raw power and high damage output, and he even has above average health.

hes too slow for what his playstyle is, he needs a major speed buff on all fronts.
This one time I saw Ryu pop a wheelie so hard, that Akuma was like; "Okay, we're good."

That's true. But it depends how you play. When I played him I played defensively. And to close gaps after knockdowns I used Mountain Raze. Also, speed gems.

After watching that cross counter on the front page, i can proudly say hugo is a broken piece of crap who needs the nerf stick.

Yea. Why learn a matchup when we can just complain and get another rebalanced game like SSF4:AE. Nerf everyone better than my characters. DO IT NOW!

Stop talking. It's things like this that are going to ruin this game. Capcom is going to balance it completely wrong and then it will be SF4 all over again.

Super was passable, AE was a huge mistake, and they had to clean it up with v.2012.

I don't want to go through that headache again. Hugo is mid-tier.

"But his damage is huge" you might say. Well guess what, if you pick a character that has a two hitting normal (like Vega) Hugo is the most free character in this game. He can't do anything on wakeup and he can't get in. Against characters with no two hitting normals he is pretty damn good, but that is his major weakness, and it is a HUGE, HUGE weakness.

Hugo is the only character with a combo damn close to a touch of death.
Hugo is the only character i feel needing a nerf, every other character can stay where they are.
Just lower his damage and health a little bit really.

and, the most free character in the game is megaman, any way you slice it.

Yes he does a huge amount of damage, and I wouldn't mind tweaking the damage a little bit. But I think he should be able to do at least 400 damage with no meter from an opening. That's really all he has.

Also, Raven is good, but the thing that hurts him is actually what makes him good-- his teleport.

Since he can only teleport TO you and not away from you, once you get him in the corner, he has a really hard time getting out. And most of his stuff aside from jab and his kunai are unsafe if you know how to punish it.

I knew there was something going on there, any time i would corner a raven they would try everything (and usually fail) to get out.

I think Hugo is just too braindead. What I hate about him is his Body Splash. The Hitbox is HUUUUGE. And it juggles regardless of counter hit. And it crosses up. If it didn't juggle I'd be okay with it. Everything else is just a matter of learning the matchup.
The thing about Raven's teleport, it's pretty damn safe. I don't like to mash jabs like a lot of people do since it can be unsafe, especially for Heihachi who's jab is slow. He can teleport behind me while in the corner, then teleport back again to the other side. I think his teleport should have a bit more recovery, like 1 or 2 frames.
