RR player here. I don't think I need to explain the benefits of log trap and why it is so good. The massive amount of space it takes up on the screen and the wall bounce are great benefits. There are three downsides to the assist people don't realize though. One is the obvious one, in that it takes a brief moment when being called before the log actually appears. While it seems like you can just call it on a whim, this assist is VERY punishable if you are not careful. And considering Raccoon's health, that is not a good thing. Second one is that the assist causes a wall bounce, so if you have a character that uses a wall bounce for their BnB, you have to change the combo to take note of this. And the one thing I think that is a major factor people don't realize about log trap is that as long as you realize where and when it is being called, it not only is easy to block, but with enough timing, you can take advantage of the hole in the log's hitbox (where the pendulum is actually swinging from) and simply jump over the log. I've learned in tourney that once people get used to the position of the assist, it is not as difficult to avoid as some may think. It's best to use with certain characters with double or triple jumps so people can't see where the log is coming from. And if you use it sparingly, it is amazing for catching people off-guard.

Gave it an A simply because once people get used to the log, it's not as scary as one may think. But damn if it ain't one hell of an assist to have.
