I found this unintentionally during a ranked match I was doing. Apparently, when a move is activated before the match is over, the move can still affect the KO'd character; this is from KO, -not- Downs, so don't hope for any MvC2 Corpse glitches. The easiest way to do this, by far, is with Phoenix Wright's Maya hyper, but any projectile (Non-Beam) based hyper will work, so long as you can DHC before the final hit is cast by it.
Doing this glitch via a DHC results in some interesting cosmetic effects. Watch the video to find it out!
Some Hyper combos come out too fast (Or too slow) to be affected by this glitch; some examples are Ryu's Shin Shoryuken, or Doom's Level 3 (Doom's Time.) If I missed anything, be sure to let me know, or just create a video response. I'm fairly sure I got every -cinematic- hyper. I do not intend to show the normal hyper combos. Someone else can do that.
HYPERS THAT CAN MAKE THIS GLITCH HAPPEN -Pre DHC-: Steel Samurai Maya Smelting, Magnetic Tempest, Gamma Tsunami (Requires very strict timing), Million Dollars, Happy Happy Trigger, Messatsu Gohadou (No beam), Gimlet (Hardest of them all to make useful.), Hyper Sentinel Force, Legion, and a few more who's names escape me.
ALL Hypers can be affected by this glitch Post DHC EXCEPT for 0 frame hypers.
There is a small bonus combo at the end put in there for laughs.
Also, there is a mistake in the video; you CAN do 1-Frame hypers; the timing is just VERY strict and near impossible to do.
